British airways and procedures

I got fun with the aircraft in London – the fuel gauge was at zero after taxing to take off position. The pilot was certain he had gaz and wanted to take off, but procedure required him to wait for the technician to check. Good that it does, because there was a problem with the fuel pomp and all the fuel was stuck in only one wing, making the aircraft un-even and impossible to fly if taken off. After that we lost our position to take off and had to wait more. Overall we were two hours late for an hour and a half in the air…
