nuits-saint-georges 1er cru aux boudots 2007, aurelien verdet

Well last year I didn’t get to post any review of the precious bottles Samuel brought from France so I’ll try to be a bit more religious about it this year. This Nuits-Saint-Georges was very easy to the palet and did not need too much aeration. I actually broke my decanter when taking it out of storage, so Benoit had to resort to something else. I think it was the right time to drink this 2007 bottle and that waiting more would not have improved the wine. When we finished the bottle a couple of days later, the wine was still excellent and Xiaobei wanted more, which is always a good sign.
